Our story
Built in Zanzibar, for Zanzibar hospitality.
Kazi Recruitment started in a Stone Town courtyard in 2021, after years of watching talented island staff hear about jobs too late and watching hotels scramble to fill roles before high season.
We began with a notebook of trusted chefs, housekeepers and front office hosts and a handful of properties who took our word for it. Today we work with hotels, resorts and lodges across the island, and the principle has not changed: know the people, know the properties, and make the introduction honestly.
